After setting up a Multiboard tool wall in the server room, I wanted to extend the system to other spots around the office. The IKEA Kallax shelves were an obvious target — plenty of flat side panels going to waste.
The key was finding a mounting solution that doesn’t damage the furniture. The Kallax connector for Multiboard clips onto the Kallax frame without screws or adhesive, making it fully reversible.
Near the gaming corner, a Kallax became the perfect place to hold the gaming controllers, tv remote and headsets, keeping keep everything visible and grab-ready.
Another Kallax near the coffee machine and whiteboard got the same treatment. This one holds whiteboard markers, business cards, a Steam controller, and a few 3D printed figures — small items that would otherwise clutter the desk.
Both setups are fully reversible. No screws in the furniture, no damage, and easy to reconfigure whenever the collection grows.
